Dry Idea Roll-on and Clear Gel

You asked...we answer

What's the difference between an antiperspirant and a deodorant?
+/-

Antiperspirants are designed to provide wetness protection. Deodorants are designed to provide odor protection. At the end of the day, however, antiperspirants provide both. You see, antiperspirants are designed to reduce underarm perspiration through an active ingredient that controls sweat. By reducing sweat, they also naturally reduce odor. In fact, tests show antiperspirants provide more protection against odor than deodorants, which are specifically designed for that purpose. While deodorants are specifically formulated to reduce odor, they contain no ingredients to curb perspiration. They use fragrance, primarily, to cover bad odor. They may also use antimicrobial agents to help kill odor-causing bacteria. Dry Idea® products are antiperspirants/deodorants, and they provide superior wetness and odor protection.

What "form" of antiperspirant is best?
+/-

All have their advantages. But studies show roll-ons and gels are highly effective. Dry Idea® antiperspirant's roll-on is silicone-based to provide superior efficacy. Our clear gel provides the added benefit of gliding on super-smooth without ever leaving a residue.

What gives Dry Idea® antiperspirant's roll on its unique, dry feel?
+/-

Dry Idea® roll on contains no water, which leads to its signature dry feel. Dry Idea® antiperspirant roll-on uses a unique combination of ingredients to block sweat without the use of water. That's why it's your best choice for no sweat.

What's the active ingredient in Dry Idea® antiperspirant?
+/-

Dry Idea® antiperspirants contain active ingredients that the U.S. Food and Drug Adminitration (FDA) has determined to be Generally Regarded as Safe and Effective (GRASE) to protect against wetness and odor. For our roll-ons, it's Aluminum Zirconium Pentachlorohydrex. For our clear gels, it's a state-of-the-art patented salt, Aluminum Zirconium Octachlorohydrex. Complicated names. But all you need remember is: they work.

Does "how you apply" make a difference in effectiveness?
+/-

With all Dry Idea® formulations - the less you apply the better. Only a small amount is needed to provide ample protection. Plus, smaller applications dry more quickly, lessening possible transfer to clothing. Recommended Application for Clear Gels: Hold container upright and twist clockwise until just a few peaks of product appear through the grid. If gel feels wet or sticky, you may be over-applying. Recommended Application for Roll-Ons: Shake container before use to insure uniform ingredient mix. Hold at an angle and apply in two or three strokes.

What if my clear gel becomes cloudy or changes color?
+/-

It may be due to sunlight exposure or extreme climate changes. The changes do not, however, affect safety or efficacy. All Dry Idea® products are approved for a shelf life of 3 years.

Where can I buy Dry Idea® antiperspirant?
+/-

Dry Idea® antiperspirant is available at most drugstores, grocery stores and key retailers.
